It is very important for page speed. Currenty, we need to manually remove all unnecessary code after the theme is live. Which is quite inconvenient, take a big amount of time and need some HTML/CSS/JS skills.

Totally agree with this.
Some performance features to remove unused code, defer, move javascript to bottom and combine all the theme files will come very handy.
