Mobile is now the biggest percentage of users. And Google now uses speed as an ranking factor. Please can we have a super fast mobile version of the theme.

This request would increase flastsomes preformace and all customer websites.

i think this is impossible on this theme. it is one of the heaviest themes i have ever seen in m life

with wp-rocket plugin in mobile we have 99% in google page speed insight , we know that more plugin make website slow but is not the case for wp-rocket

I'm not in board with this. A magazine site and an e-commerce store are very different things, so of course it's easy to optimise elements for a website consisting of blog posts. E-commerce you need to load a lot more scrips and functionality for what users expect. You also need to have a personality and brand. I think that this request is more of a push back to the dark days when you had a desktop site and a horrible mobile site. I had a WooCommerce site with 100k products on it using flatsome and it always loaded lighting fast on any device. Seems like this is more of a issue of cheap / slow host and bad optimization. I also feel you're focusing too much on that mobile score. Google's own website scores terribly on their own test. As long as the experience loads quickly for your customers, I'm not sure why you're so concerned with.

If you want to make it super fast all you need to do is to get your client on super fast hosting. There is no work around it. If they have redesigned there to be for mobiles first they would had to dumb it down, make it super simple and remove many important features.Again, it's good as is, if you want faster get client to pay extra for faster hosting.

It's been one year since this feature request and everyone in the meantime is working hard to win the mobile.
The mobile version for fast performance has a 53 score.
Are there ANY plans in addressing this real issue?

Maybe they should design a separate light theme for mobile only focusing on user experience and speed. That's the only way forward. That way user would have the ability to improve on that.

A very good example of theme I previously used is NEWSPAPER. It doesn't offer much but speed is lightning fast since it is an ecommerce theme minimizing the sources would be a great addition.
