Give us more control or more styles of how the checkout shipping / payment options appear.
We need it too :-)
Yes that is a good idea. I am very surprised that the Flatsome theme looks so professional all over the template, and then this section with the shipping is looking so bad. It looks like a fault in the template!?
Good point !
Or bring the dropdown menu back with the Delivery options
Agree! The new templates are nice, but we need more control over the appearance of the checkout through easy tools like UX Editor or so, that's what really differentiates Flatsome from other themes :)
Hey Prokop, do you have some css code to make this look pretty already, that we can borrow?
@Morten Pauch: You have to do combination of css and template editing. I can email our version which is the one in the "pretty" screenshot.
@Prokop Suchanek: that would be very cool, thanks. However, could you possibly zip it and share with dropbox or google drive instead? would really appreciate it.
@Prokop Suchanek it would be amazing if you shared that customization !!
@Matías Ighani: @Morten Pauch: Here you go, place override inside your template folder and add css to your style.css file.
@Prokop Suchanek: Thanks - works like a charm :)
@Prokop Suchanek: I will try it asap, thank you very much!!
@Prokop Suchanek: Can you drop that as a zip file as well please!
@Prokop Suchanek: Thank you so much for this!
I hope this doesn't make me come across as stupid but can you please tell me how I can upload this fix to my website?
@Brent Bradford: You need to upload the content (woocommerce/cart/cart-shipping.php) to your child-theme - in that order (every folder must be created). Then add the css text in Flatsome - Advanced - Custom CSS - All Screens.
This line (/* Shipping & betaling felt i kurv/checkud */) can of cause be changed to something that makes more sense to you (or deleted), as it is only used for a description, so you know what the css does
Can't agree more!
Why not? the more it looks well, the more professional it would be.
yes, this is such an important part of the shopping process. it should be streamlined :)
From what I gather from my customers the shipping options get lost many times. I believe it shouldn't be in the same column as the order review.
I think it would be a good option to move the shipping and payment options after the customer details, more like default woo. The order review could be a column as it is but sticky.
If not, at least it should be clearly separated and differentiated from the rest because currently it blends and customers don't find it, specially if you haven't already enter the address details that enable the shipping methods.
You should consider multi-step checkout! (https://codecanyon.net/item/arg-multistep-checkout-for-woocommerce/18036216) built in the theme so it would make sense with the rest of the templates.
