SKU on the product catalog page

I would like to be able to specify in the theme settings so that sku is shown on the product catalog page. Now I insert SKU in a short description of the goods. Next, put a tick "show a short description" in the theme settings.
But I think this decision is not very friendly with the SEO.

We really need this to be added to the product page, to have a special widget in UX builder. To be able to place it where we would like on the page. This is very important it's almost a deal breaker that we cannot do. I have tried a text box there but that carries through for all the products, cant have different skews in a text box. Please help.. Thank you.
