Save any section or content in UX Builder as templates that can be re-used anywhere.
Would love to see this and maybe open up for the community to save section for flatsome to review and share with the public
@Martin Wessel: I agree. This way people can share page layouts and You can build a community and release free templates for sales pages, app pages, corporate, etc.
@Piotr Smirnow: Good idea :)
A marktetplace with extensions and more templates?
So let's understand what is happening!
Let's assume for a second -- someone like myself that has spent hundreds of hundreds of hrs with this theme -- My purchase date goes back to 2015-07-25 -- What is so different then be stacking a page in blocks ? What is the difference -- I create a block I can add - move - change -- I have one theme I am building now the whole site is built using nothing but blocks -- I Would rather have the function of CREATING blocks in the ux builder and saving them ON page --- Then I would vote for that ! =)
So I open Home page in UX + Element CREATE BLOCK is now a feature - then when I click save -- it now goes into active blocks to use any where I want..
@Jason Scott McIntyre: I agree. Templates should be saved as blocks somehow. But blocks should also be possible to be added as "new content" instead of a linked block.
Any idea when will it be released ?
I am very interested in seeing templates being able to be saved. I use the UX builder for the product description portion of my woocommerce store. Right now it's easy enough to build it once and just copy the shortcode and then edit the parts I want, but a template would be nice for quick loading.
Using blocks would be fine, but if that's the case, having a section of the block that is editable on individual products would be great. For example, I have it split into 3 columns. A description, features and then an image that is a logo. I would like to be able to save the block, but edit the description and features at the product editing screen.....but in the future if I wanted to change the image in the block, it would update throughout my products, if that makes sense.
Yes that is a good idea !
We need it too.
Glad its in progress!
Any update on the ETA for this?
It's the "in-progress" feature I'm most excited about. It will be especially valuable for operating a network of stores by making it easier to implement new layouts or update them across multiple sites.
