Hello! I request you for the following provisions in the FLATSOME theme wrt the "shop-category filter", when chosen by the site developer TO APPEAR IN THE TOP PORTION OF THE PAGE INSTEAD OF LEFT OR RIGHT. ======================================= NOTE: These provisions should be made available as an additional "choice" for the site-developer - in addition of the existing design of the shop-filter feature. These provisions will make flatsome a far better UI/UX for selling of certain visually-predominant, eye-candy products such as paintings, prints and art-objects - appealing to a wider potential users. ======================================= REQUESTED FEATURE-CHANGE: The filter for shop-category in the current design is one,"universal" and requires manual intervention for the display of all the options. The website-developer should have a choice so that upon selecting it's top-side display, it may made available for the end-user as broken-down, de-centralised and "always on display" on ANY of the shop's category-level being browsed. Here's the detailed description of the changes requested: For the end-user, right now the filter for shop-category, when designed to appear in the top area of the page (rather than left or right), can be activated by clicking on the filter-symbol and the filter options are highlighted in the vertical column pop-up that appears on the LHS, dimming the items on display in the background. Thus it not only requires the end-user to take additional steps (clicks) to see what the filters and sub-filters are, but the end-user also get the unnecessary view of options for shop-categories other than the one being browsed, thus adding distraction to the user. The filter for shop-category should not be a "Universal" filter. By Universal-filter I mean that the same filter options are seen whenever the filter button is clicked, no matter which category and category-level is being browsed by the user. Along-with the filters related to the category being browsed, it always also displays the filters and sub-filters unrelated to the category being browsed, in the popup that is displayed on the LHS, dimming the page/items being browsed that thus creating unnecessary noise and back and forth movement (from the items being browsed to the filter options); and thus defeats a good UI/UX. What is required is appropriate filters (or sub-filters) to be put on display by default and the end-user need to only optionally click the desired filter at that level. Once this step is done, any additional sub-filters should be put on display by default - so on and so forth. This will prevent the back and forth movements and universal noise generated by display of unrelated categories, filters and sub-filters - for a peaceful end-user experience. NOTE: While the desktop version may have enough space for the filter-level specific filter/sub-filter options to get displayed by default, mobile versions may require filter symbol with drop-down if the filter options cannot be fitted in one single horizontal line. In such a case, the user will still have to click on the symbol to see the filter options, but once the filters are chosen, with a 2 second delay post selection OR upon scrolling up or down, the fiter option should automatically change to the symbol. IMPORTANT These requested changes affect only the visual display of the filters at each level for the end-user. Hence the interface for the website-developer need NOT change, except for the additional option of making it "centralized" or "de-centralized".
